Primary Producers in Qld now have access to grants of up to $2500 to help address their family business and succession planning, thanks to an initiative launched by the Queensland Rural Adjustment Authority (QRAA).
The Farm Management Grant allows primary producers and their relatives seeking professional advice in relation to succession planning, or a family member wanting to acquire an interest in the family business, to apply for a rebate.
Rebates of up to 50% of the amount paid for the eligible professional advice, up to a maximum of $2500 for each year of the scheme, may be obtained.
Fees incurred with a suitably qualified solicitor, accountant or financial planner may be eligible for the rebate.
The scheme will close on 30 June 2019.
